The prototype came to life
February 3, 2026 — Evgeny Goryaev's birthday. And on that day, the TENSA prototype came to life for the first time.
The enclosure is made from steel sheet. I cut it, fitted it, bent it, painted it, drilled it — by hand. No fabrication shop, no outsourcing. The wooden panels weren't there yet, but it was already a real mixer: the tube phonostages were running and all the core functionality worked.
By that point the first custom transformer had arrived. I was already working through transformer suppliers — sending enquiries to Barcelona, Poland, Czech Republic, comparing quotes.
