First Outing at Kultural Records Store
Until that point the mixer had been running off three laboratory power supplies simultaneously. When it finally ran from its own unit, it felt like the right moment to take it outside.
The first stop was Kultural Records — a record shop in Valencia's Ruzafa neighbourhood. The owner is Denes, an Italian who has been living in Valencia for many years. Beyond the shop, he organises the Kultural Dayz parties: festival format, multiple stages, good music, good people.
We plugged in the mixer, put on some records, showed it to a few people who came in. Jjust taking the instrument out for the first time to see how it exists beyond the workshop.
