TENSA went to Superbooth in Berlin
In May we went to Berlin for Superbooth 26 — all three days of it (May 7–9). We didn't manage to set up our own booth this time. We hope to next time — and we're tagging Superbooth here specifically so they know: we want a booth.
By next year we'd love to have our own tent — something like their Acid Booth, but ours: a Vinyl Booth, or maybe a DJ Booth, haven't decided yet. A dedicated spot where people can listen to music, with a series of b2b sets or just interesting sets recorded there. Or we could put our mixer on one of the existing dance floors with a sound system — for instance, that separate floor by the bar, which we have on photo.
Superbooth is a celebration of synthesizers and electronic music, where you can talk to pretty much anyone in person: hardware makers, musicians, accessory makers, a ton of small-batch local builders. We met Sarah Sommers, Richie Hawtin and Monolake — and Monolake's set on Commodore computers was an absolute banger.
The venue has several dance floors, with great music playing right there, beers to grab, and interesting people to talk to. Huge numbers of people show up, and it all runs for three full days, morning to night. We also ran into Catem and got to know them in person.
